Professor Anona Armstrong AM is Director of Research and Research Training, Professor of Governance and Head of the Governance Research Program in the College of Law and Justice, Victoria University. She was Foundation President, and is a Life Member and Fellow of the Australasian Evaluation Society, a Fellow of IPAA (Vic), the Australian Psychological Society, the Australian Institute of Company Directors and Clare College Cambridge University. She was invested as a Member of the Order of Australia in 2008 for services to the community and education. Her major research interests are evaluation, governance and ethics. She has supervised over 60 postgraduate theses and published many books and papers on these topics. Her latest book with Ronald Francis is The Meetings Handbook. Her latest article is a chapter addressing the Governance of Public Service Companies.
