About me
Maminydjama Maymuru is a proud Manggalili woman, she is a young emerging Yolŋu leader for her clan group and people of Yirrkala. She has spent many of her years advocating for First Nations rights and for youth justice while embracing a career in acting and modelling. Maminydjama has worked in community based law and justice projects for 5 years. At ARDS, Maminydjama has actively been involved in co-designing as well as facilitating bicultural evaluation processes with Yolŋu communities. She is an experienced presenter at conferences, has travelled across the country working with youth and is passionate about learning about other cultures and languages.
