About me
Founder of BetterEvaluation and former Professor of Public Sector Evaluation at RMIT University. Now working as consultant and advisor. Co-author (with Sue Funnell) of the book Purposeful Program Theory: Effective Use of Theories of Change and Logic Models, currently being revised for a second edition. My work has focused on supporting appropriate choice and use of evaluation methods and approaches to suit purposes and context. Current projects are around ways that evaluation can better meet the urgent multiple crises the world faces, including improving the use of theories of change and supporting inclusive, adaptive management of interventions.
