About me

Emily Gates, PhD, is an Associate Professor of Evaluation in the Measurement, Evaluation, Statistics, and Assessment department of the Lynch School of Education at Boston College. Her research interests include the use of systems thinking and complexity science in evaluation and the the role of values and valuing in evaluation practice. She teaches graduate courses in program evaluation and research methods and conducts evaluations in public health amd education.
