Layla Wenitong-Schrieber is a proud Dauwarbarra woman of the Kabi speaking people's (Gubbi Gubbi). She is a part of a youth organisation that was established by a group of First Nations young people in Gimuy (Cairns) called DIYDG (Deadly Inspiring Youth Doing Good).
