Having graduated from QUT in Brisbane with a Bachelor of Arts in Drama ( Hons)( 1992) and then a Master of Arts ( CCD in Healthcare settings)( 1997) I worked for 6 years as a freelance community cultural development artist across Brisbane and SE Qld. In 1998 I was invited to develop, grow and lead a new youth arts organisation which became Catalyst Youth Arts. After 7 years with Catalyst, I moved to the Kimberley in Western Australia to become the Director of the Indigenous controlled Art Centre in Balgo, Warlayirti Artists.In 2013 I accepted a role of General Manager of the Northern Australia consulting arm of Matrix On Board in Darwin. Matrix specialises in governance and program / service delivery capacity building for the non-profit and social enterprise sectors. Our work includes tailored program evaluations and organisational reviews and for the last 5 years has included place-based evaluation work across regional NSW. Our work is national, but our focus is on regional and remote non-profits and as such much of our work is in the Northern Territory, Kimberley, APY Lands ( SA) and NG Lands. In 2023 I completed an MBA from the University of New South Wales with a specialisation in Change- which has been a constant theme for non-profits in all locations.I am the Chair of MoneyMob Talkabout which is a financial literacy organisation which works primarily with Anangu communities in the APY Lands of South Australia. I'm also the Chair of Off The Leash, the What's On art and cultural guide for the NT.
